Cost of a cab from Fiumincino to Rome hotel?

Hello. I go to Rome in a few days and haven't booked any airport/hotel transfers. I'm staying at the San Marco hotel, which is fairly central. How much is reasonable to pay for an airport cab to the hotel. And, would it be the same price back to the airport on my return?
A taxi between Fiumicino airport and the city is 40 euro each direction. You can verify this here: http://www.adr.it/portal/portal/adr/Fiumicino/Servizi/Come_raggiungerci/Arrivo_in_taxi_FCO . However, make sure you take an official taxi - there are illegal cabs than can cost more.
The price is for up to 4 people and includes baggage. It can cost a little more if you are going to the airport very early or late.
However, it costs 11 euro to take the Leonardo Express train from the airport to Roma Termini station. There's also a train for 5.50 euro that runs from the airport to Roma Tiburtina station which makes several stops in Rome along the way. It's usually cheaper taking the train into the city and getting a cab or walking from there. The Hotel San Marco is within walking distance of Roma Termini station. I would recommend taking the Leonardo Express train rather than a cab.
