Looking for good hotels in Rome city centre.?
Posted by admin
Hi there,
I'm looking for a nice hotel in the centre of Rome, this is my first time visiting rome and don't know to much about the layout of the city.
Im hoping to visit all of the usual tourist things (Colosseum, Vatican city, Sistine chapel), so would like a hotel that is not to far away from attractions. Walking distance preferably.
Any recommendations would be appreciated!

Hi, I went to Rome with my wife 2 months ago and we stayed at the hotel ARTEMIDE.. I'm italian from Venice and I have lots of friends living in Rome that suggest me this hotel..
It's right in the center of the city, you can either walk or take the subway, you are close to everything.
The price is really good and the rooms are very nice.
One suggestion…don't bother pay extra for breakfast in the hotel..there are many many coffe places around town to have a typical italian breakfast and nice espressos.
it's one of the best rated hotels from Americans that went in vacation.

I stayed at the Hotel Florida and it was pretty good. Unfortunately I can't remember exactly where it is, so you may have to look it up.

hi i'm from rome. i think that is impossible to stay walking distance from everything. rome is big. so i suggest you a hotel in the city centre and close to a metro station.
i suggest you the "Hotel center 1 2 3" that is not too expensive.
and "Park Hotel dei Massimi" is near the sistine chapel..
take a look to this sites:
