Saxon Chronicles is a series of videos about the Saxon campaign in Rome’s expansion- Barbarian Invasion.
This faction is very fun to play as all of its infantry can form good defensive position by using a shield wall formation. Saxon’s starting position allows the player to play the campaign in many different ways- invading the British Isles, fighting with other barbarian factions or even overtaking the Western Empires’ lands.
It’s my first chronicle so pleas be easy with your ratings and comments.

Yes. this is an expansion pack for RTW. In my opinion it has the best campaign in all TW games

I don’t play RTW myself but I don’t think this is a mod, I believe it’s the barbarian invasion expansion pack for RTW, like kingdoms for Medieval 2 total war, but i’m not sure

Thank you for your comment. Yeah- Barbarian Invasion is very different to other games from the Total War series. I will probably struggle whenever the hordes of Goths and Huns will invade my lands ;/ Ah well- I guess I’ll just deal with them like I dealt with Romans…

You have to edit …
You have to edit the game files. It’s quite easy. Playing as the Celts is really fun as they have fearsome berserkers and chariots. The only disadvantage is that you have to deal with the Romano-British and they’re tough!

Well- good luck with your campaign. Watch out for the Frankish Tribes as they often leave their settlement, form a horde and invade you when you don’t expect it…
