Was Julius Caesar's Assassination for the Good of Rome?
Posted by admin
I need reasons why it was good for Rome : ). Please help me!
Any sites that help are good too!
But I really do need reasons why it was good for Rome.
Because I am doing a seminar and must prove that it was good.
Brutus felt it was for the good of Rome. He felt that Caesar had become blindly ambitious and would rule absolutely, thwarting the needs of the people.

It was for the good of rome…….to his assassins. Everybody at the Senate excluding the assassins believed Caesar would save Rome and turn it into a peaceful empire. Then the assassins struck. The reason? They were the ONLY ones that thought Caesar would turn Rome into a dictatorship, the ruling of a military "monster" if you will.
